Key takeaways
- Webflow agencies price four ways: hourly, fixed project, monthly retainer or productized tiers. The model matters as much as the number.
- Five of the six agencies we checked publish something. Only one hides every figure behind a call.
- A published starting price is a floor, not a quote. Ask which model you are being quoted under before comparing two numbers.
Webflow agency pricing lands anywhere from $3,000 to $50,000+ depending on scope, and the model an agency bills under matters almost as much as the number itself. Most agencies will not tell you which one they will quote you, or what it costs, until you have booked a call.
We went and checked. Below is what six real Webflow agencies, including us, actually publish, what the rest hide behind "let's talk," and how to read a quote once you have one. For cost by project type, see our Webflow agency cost guide. This article is about the pricing models themselves.
The four pricing models Webflow agencies actually use
- Hourly, $25 to $250+ per hour. You pay for time against an estimate. Fits small, ambiguous or ongoing work where a fixed price would be a guess.
- Fixed project, $3,000 to $50,000+. One price for a defined deliverable. Protects your budget only if the scope document is actually tight.
- Monthly retainer, $2,000 to $15,000+ per month. A standing block of work after launch. Pays off once a site ships or iterates more than about twice a month.
- Productized tiers, from $3,000. A public menu with a starting price and a feature list per tier. The closest thing to buying a plan.
Fewer agencies publish tiers because it means committing to a number in public. The ones that do use it as a trust signal as much as a pricing mechanism.
Who actually publishes prices
We checked six agencies' own websites directly rather than repeating secondhand numbers. Five publish real figures in some form; one publishes nothing and routes every inquiry to a call.

Why many agencies still hide their prices
We publish ours, so we are not neutral on this, but the reasoning behind hiding pricing is usually one of three things, and only one of them is about you:
- Genuine scope variance. A full RevOps rebuild or a multi-market migration really does vary enough that a single number would mislead.
- Sales process design. A discovery call lets an agency qualify budget before showing a number. This is about close rate, not your clarity.
- No fixed offer to publish. Some agencies price every project from scratch and have no tier to point to.
Same scope, three ways
The same 8-page B2B SaaS marketing site, quoted under three models, lands in three different places:
- Hourly: $10,000 to $15,000. 80 to 120 senior hours at $125 per hour.
- Fixed project: $8,000 to $20,000 against the published mid-tier ranges above.
- Productized: the tier price, with a fixed feature list and no estimate.
The spread is not agencies padding the number. It is three different units of measurement for the same work: time, deliverable, or tier. A $6,000 fixed quote and a $6,000 retainer-for-one-month quote are not comparable, even though the number matches.
Which model fits you
| Your situation | Our pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Scope is clear, one-off launch | Fixed project | Budget locked; change orders only when scope moves |
| The site ships weekly after launch | Retainer | Cheaper than project pricing above about two releases a month |
| You need a number before a call | Productized tier | Published floor, fixed feature list, no discovery call |
| Scope is genuinely unknown | Hourly, capped | Pay for discovery, convert to fixed once scoped |
FAQ
Do Webflow agencies charge hourly or by project?
Both, and it depends on the agency and the work. Hourly is more common for ongoing or loosely scoped work; fixed-project pricing for a defined build with a clear deliverable. Ask which model you are being quoted under before comparing two numbers.
Why do so many agencies hide their prices?
Mostly sales process, not necessarily cost. A discovery call lets an agency qualify the budget and frame the number before the buyer sees it.
Is a published starting price the real price I'll pay?
Treat it as a floor, not a quote. Every agency that publishes a starting figure, us included, prices up from there based on scope, page count and integrations.
